Life's a peach so swipe on some blush and enjoy it!

Happy Valentine's Day girls! I'm having so much fun posting these blush-overview-type posts. It really forces me to dig deep and find the blushes that I haven't used in a while.

If I'm ever in a pinch (which reminds me I want MAC's Pinch O' Peach) and only have a few minutes to get ready, I usually like to apply a peachy shade of blush. I find they're the most natural looking on my extremely warm (okay fine, extremely yellow) skin. That isn't the only time I use these blushes, but I find they're always a safe choice. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but I think I managed to get the bulk of my peach/coral blushes into the photo.

10. MAC mineralize blush in Utterly Game (LE)

Because I find the above photos a bit of a jumbled mess, I decided to show you which are my most and least used peachy/coral blushes.

Least Used:
7. elf Candid Coral
4. elf Peachy Keen
5. NARS Torrid
6. Benefit Sugarbomb

Most Used:
1. Shu Uemura P Peach 47
8. Anna Sui 300
10. MAC Utterly Game
3. Lorac Peach*
11. Laura Mercier Lush Nectarine
*this one requires the most blending though so I don't use it if I'm in a hurry

I feel it's worth mentioning that even if your skin tone is on the cooler side, don't be afraid of the peaches. My skin is as yellow as they come and I still love to wear bright bubblegum and cool-toned pink blushes.

If you have a similar skin tone to me or are just a bit darker, I highly recommend the Anna Sui blush in the shade 300. Love, love, love it. It's sheer but pigmented enough. This blush is such a joy to apply. I usually like to buff and blend my blush until my arm is tired, but this blush just gives the most beautiful flush without all of the buffing and blending. The colour is very buildable so no need to worry about the fact that it's slightly sheer. It also has a light rose scent. It isn't a strong scent so I can't see it being a problem for those of you who prefer unscented products. I have only been using this blush for a few weeks so my opinion could change (and if it does, I'll be sure to update you) but for now I'm incredibly pleased and impressed with this blush.

Are you a fan of peach/coral blushes? Any favourites?

Peace, love & lots of chocolate covered kisses
Elise x

I am so jealous of your collection!!! I love peach bushes, was going to pick up a beautiful Laura mercier one for myself the other day but they had ran out of the colour i wanted xxx

Gem- haha nothing to be jealous of lovey! Instead of being smart like other people, I spend my money as soon as I get paid. It's almost as if having money in my account is offensive and I feel the need to just spend it as soon as possible lol I'm terrible! x

Amazing collection! I should clean up mine, as I always end up using the same blushes over and over again.

impressive collection (and picks) too! i was in a peach/orange blush phase and now i'm moving on to cool pinks for winter :X but spring is coming so i'd be reaching for peach blushes more!

my fave coral blush is Dior Coral Riviera blush, and NARS Gina (it's more orange rather than coral...no pink tones at all!), Benefit Coralista. If NARS Orgasm belongs to the coral category (at all), then add that to my list too :P

I have MAC Utterly Game too but on the fence with this one (not sure if i really like it that much).

p.s. love posts like these! i should write something like this :3

Kim- haha thanks Kim! Go to Sephora for their 500 point gift! Pretty sure the gift is Coralista right now x

Justine (Productrater)- Yay for peach obsessed bloggers! I've heard so much about MAC My Highland Honey and Peaches I have no idea why I don't have Peaches yet. Thanks for sharing! x

G A B Y- Unfortunately, I know exactly what you mean. Just the other day, instead of lining all of my blushes in rows, I just dumped them all in the drawer because I was starting to memorize the order and was always reach for the same ones over and over. Perhaps try that :) x

Jennifer- YES please do! I would love to read it. I've only recently discovered the joy of using a cool pink blush. Exciting! x

westwoodxo- haha I keep meaning to give it another chance, but after seeing what I looked like the last time I used it, I'm a bit scared. I need to remember to do a review! x

Terri- Thanks so much! x

Rossaaay- lol don't be jealous :) it's just gotten too out of control. I'm so hopeless (aka weak) when it comes to purchasing blush! x

Alicia- Thanks so much Alicia! Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Definitely give some of them a try. The Anna Sui and Laura Mercier blush would probably look amazing on you x

Kaylyn- Thank you! haha I was actually shopping around when I read your comment so I made my way over to the MAC counter and bought Pinch O' Peach right away. You're so right...it's amazing! x

siwing- LOL I think 3 peach blushes is probably what my collection SHOULD contain. I love Utterly Game and Gilda! x

Jolene- Have fun Jolene!! It seems everyone I talk to is leaving for Miami. Lucky girl! I'm sure you and your husband deserve a nice break (especially after that nasty storm you had to deal with). I would love to hear about it when you get back! x

makeupwithstyle- I've had my eye on MAC buff for so long haha. Every time I go to a counter, I swatch it but for some reason I just haven't bought it yet. x

YB*- Yay! I'm so glad to hear that! x

Delyteful Speaks- aww thank you! Blush addicts unite! I want to try illamasqua products so badly but they aren't sold in Canada and the Sephora website won't ship it here either :( x

I'm a peach blush fiend, your collection is what I DREAM of!
The NARS Torrid looks so lovely in the pan, but it doesn't seem to come out as bright in your swatch.
I'm curious to know why it's one of your least used blushes?

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words
in your content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.

I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I thought I'd post to
let you know. The design and style look great though!

Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Thanks

I hardly leave a response, however i did a few searching and wound
up here "Life's a peach so swipe on some blush and enjoy it!".
And I do have 2 questions for you if you tend not to mind.
Is it only me or does it look like some of these responses look like left
by brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are posting at additional sites,
I'd like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of all of your community pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
